Bensa Homasho coffee is produced in the Sidama appellation about 400 km south of Addis Ababa. The cherries are collected from small farmers who grow their coffee in the forest near the village of Homasho. In this region rich volcanic soils and shade cast by orchards are what gives this coffee its fairly unique fruity juiciness and sweetness, along with generous rainfall from May to October.
